we stayed in grasse, a small town in the south of france, for a week. peaceful. rustic. almost in a time-warp, i suppose. grasse is the perfume the capital of the world! flower fields of rose centifolia and jasmine. fragrance factories, fragrance museums. oh and the colors of the town! of the region! for two weeks, it was nice to trade the metallics of new york city to be surrounded by the citruses of southern france.

the flight from new york to nice was filled with, by far, the most stylish passengers that i have ever seen board for an eight hour trip across the ocean. including ivana trump? already off to the perfect start!
