the view

right before i left for college, my parents demolished our home and rebuilt anew. foundation and all. it took about a year to complete. but it was built in the exact same spot as our home before. so i have basically lived in the same place my entire life. the thing that is strange, i think, is that the view out of my bedroom window is about fifteen feet to the left of what it used to be. a new perspective.
